These four people were captured in the operation carried out by the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office last week, and this Sunday the accusing body confirmed the identities of those linked to a drug trafficking network.
The Prosecutor’s Office reported, through a statement, what Álvaro Uriel Castro Gómez, alias ‘Machete’, is the “alleged head of the drug trafficking network”, and that the others involved are his brother, Robin Alirio Castro Gomez, alias ‘The pattern’; Carlos Fernando Duque Lopez, aka ‘The teacher’, and Ana Carolina Chaparro.
These people were located in operations that were deployed in Bogotá, Cali and Villavicencio, and will be extradited to answer for drug trafficking and conspiracy crimes before a court in Florida.
The investigations of the North American justice allowed to identify, according to the accusing body, that this network allegedly “bought cocaine hydrochloride in Nariño, Meta and Guaviare”, and that a large part of the drug would be sent “in speedboats from the Colombian Pacific to Panama and Costa Rica ”.
From there, “the shipments were allegedly camouflaged in tractors” to transport them to the United States.
The Prosecutor’s Office said that another of the modalities that this network used was that of “sending drugs between parcels” from various airports in the country, and that recently “10 kilograms of cocaine were seized from them that they intended to remove on a humanitarian flight from an international NGO.”

Alias ’Servi’, who was enlisting marriage, also fell into operation
These people were captured in the so-called ‘Radar operation’, in which 18 people fell. The most notorious capture was that of John James Pulgarín, alias ‘Servi’, and the Police confirmed that he was on a farm he owned in Envigado, Antioquia, preparing preparations for his marriage.
Alias ’Servi’, for the authorities, is the successor of alias ‘Fritanga’, and currently he served as “the designated leader of the ‘Office collegiate body'”.
This video shows the capture of the man together with the one who would be one of his accomplices: Jose Ruben Contreras, aka ‘Palomo’.
