The Colombian Geological Service reported on the morning of Monday, November 16, an earthquake of 4.6 degrees and a depth of 58 kilometers.
The event had as its epicenter the municipality of Nóvita, Chocó, but according to the report, it was felt in the departments of Caldas, Valle, Risaralda, Quindío and Tolima.

It should be remembered that in Chocó there are at least 10 municipalities affected by the heavy rains this weekend. The affected areas are: Carmen de Atrato, Bagadó, Lloró, Atrato, Medio Atrató, Tadó, Medio San Juan, Condoto, Nóvita and Itsmina.

Rafael Bolaños, Head of the Chocó Disaster Risk Management Office, reported that, at the moment, there is preliminary talk of 6,771 affected families.
