356 new cases and 6 deaths from Covid-19 in Quindío

To date, there are 7,735 infected in the region, of which 5,000 have recovered.

The departmental Health Secretariat, through its daily report, revealed 356 new cases of Covid-19 in Quindío, distributed in the 12 municipalities as follows: Armenia 265, Calarcá 35, La Tebaida 10, Filandia 9, Montenegro 9, Salento 8, Circasia 7, Quimbaya 5, Córdoba 3, Génova 3, Pijao 1 and Buenavista 1. Of the total, 5 are in hospitalization.

Likewise, 6 deaths of people between 66 and 90 years of age were reported: in Armenia 4, La Tebaida 1 and Quimbaya 1, with which the department reaches 196 deaths associated with the disease. To date, there are 7,735 infected in the region, of which 5,000 have recovered. Among other data provided by the bulletin, is the classification of Covid-19 patients according to the EPS, being Sura with 1,594 infected until yesterday and 24 deaths the one that reports the most cases. However, it is the New EPS with 53 deaths that has the most deaths. In the national panorama, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, there are 6,311 new cases in the country, in districts and departments such as: Antioquia with 1,661, Bogotá with 998, Valle del Cauca with 505, Santander with 360, Huila with 320, Cundinamarca with 312, Caldas with 255, Meta with 255, Tolima with 225, Quindío with 208, Boyacá with 181, Risaralda with 133, Caquetá with 122, Caquetá with 122, Norte de Santander with 120, Nariño with 80 and Cauca with 72.

132 people who died from the disease were registered today in Colombia, including a 6-year-old girl in Santa Marta, with comorbidity under study.
