With these new infections, the total of positives so far in the pandemic in Santander reaches 65,278 infections.
In the case of deaths, 2,317 people have lost their lives due to the virus in the department.
The Ministry of Health reported for Colombia a total of 9,594 new cases of the new Covid-19 coronavirus, and 228 deaths, of which 198 are from the previous day. There were also 11,934 recovered in the last day.

Bogotá once again registered the highest number of cases this Sunday with 3,141 confirmed infections, followed by Antioquia, with 1,363. Valle del Cauca confirmed 755 cases in this new day of tests.
Cases were also registered in Tolima (586), Cundinamarca (533), Norte de Santander (363), Risaralda (349), Barranquilla (340), Santander (291), Boyacá (231), Atlántico (207), Cartagena (204 ),, Meta (160), Quindio (160), Huila (142), Caldas (128), and Cauca (123)
Below the 100 cases were Nariño (99), Santa Marta (93), César (65), Casanare (55), Bolivar (32), Putumayo (31), Caquetá (30), Córdoba (26), Magdalena (25), Sucre (24), Guajira (22), Chocó (5), Vaupes (5), San Andrés (3), Arauca (2), Amazonas (1).
Today 39,617 tests were processed, of which 27,612 PCR and 12,005 Antigen were performed.
