At the moment, fruit and vegetable producers (27%); coffee (22%); fishing (14%); cocoa (13%); as well as milk and derivatives (8%), they are the ones with the highest participation in the number of linked (105,189 producers).

According to the figures, between 2018 (December 7) and so far 2020 (November 6) Every day, on average, 148.1 producers are linked to ‘Contract Agriculture’ and 1,030 producers do so every week.

Producers from Antioquia, Santander and Cauca have achieved more sales

Although the ‘Contract Agriculture’ strategy has been present in the country’s 32 departments, those with the highest participation in the 105,189 producers who have closed businesses are: Antioquia (16%), Santander (9%), Cauca (7% ), as well as Putumayo and Nariño (each with 6%).

Due to the covid-19 situation, ‘Contract Farming’ was adapted to virtuality with the One Click Field strategy. There, growers can offer their harvests on more than 29 e-commerce platforms. To date, 10,147 new users have already been added.
