At around 5:45 pm today, the Spartan military plane took off from Bezmer airport near Yambol towards Sofia with the two women seriously injured in today’s accident near Lesovo. They will continue their treatment at the Pirogov Hospital in Sofia.
The flight was supposed to take place at 2:30 p.m., but the team that arrived by plane, together with the doctors from Yambol, decided during an on-site inspection at the airport that the condition of the two patients did not allow them to fly and that they should stabilize. also, so that there are no risks to their lives.
The patients were returned to the Yambol hospital in ambulances and stabilized with the help of equipment, medicines and consumables brought by the plane from Sofia. Three hours later, they were able to fly, returned to the airport and boarded the plane bound for Sofia.
