The turnout at 12 o’clock today is 18.14%, announced the Central Electoral Commission. At this time, 1,183,667 voters had voted out of a total of 6,526 million eligible voters.

The indicator is made up of all those who have exercised their right to vote.

The highest voter turnout was recorded in the districts of Sliven – 24.87% and Montana – 24.13%, and the lowest – in Kardzhali – 12.13%. In Sofia, a city at 12 o’clock, 16.09% voted, and in Plovdiv, 12.96%.

It depends on the participation if the decisions of the next referendums will be recommended or mandatory.

In the previous parliamentary elections in 2017, the turnout was 54.07%: more than 3.682 million Bulgarians went to the polls, more than in the two previous votes in 2013 and 2014.

See in the graph the comparison with the data of the previous parliamentary elections. The values ​​at 10 in the morning are comparable, but the following are not, because in the 2017 elections the turnout was reported at 1 in the afternoon, and so far the CEC has published the data at 12 noon.
