This was commented today in Varna by the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov, who visited the University Hospital “St. Marina” in the city and visited the COVID ward. He added that after herd immunity, there are no concerns that people who work in hospitals could be injured.

Angelov said he is pleased that Bulgaria is receiving an additional 1.3 million pieces of informational RNA vaccines. According to him, at the end of the summer in the country we can achieve herd immunity.

According to him, the percentage of positive samples is gradually decreasing, compared to the total number of tests that are being carried out.
The situation is very dynamic, but it is the same throughout the world, he recalled.
The minister expressed hope that by the end of April, after the first quantities of the emergency supply of the informational RNA vaccine arrive, people will be able to choose the vaccine to be administered.
Election day is running smoothly, I was in the hospital’s COVID ward, Angelov said, adding that voting was absolutely safe.
There are 46 quarantined and isolated sections in the country and 199 in hospitals.
