“The truck is a few years old. However, there may be a technical malfunction or deterioration of the driver’s health. The third question remains whether the guardrails would withstand such a blow from a large vehicle,” explained Hristo Dimitrov from the Bulgarian Victims Association of Accidents.
According to him, the lack of a stopping distance could mean a technical malfunction or problems with the driver’s health. However, the unsupported speed version is still not considered a leader. Witnesses to the accident explained that the truck was moving within the restrictions.
