One hasn’t been to school yet
Four new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours in the Ruse region, according to data from the Regional Health Inspectorate. Two of them are women: 33 and 58 years of Ruse. The other two infected are 14- and 16-year-old boys from Ruse and Ivanovo. The four are in home quarantine as their complaints are not serious.
The 14-year-old is a ninth-grade student at the “Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov” National School of Arts, announced by the district administration, BGNES reported. His symptoms include a sore throat and fever, which appeared on September 19. It was the last time he was at school the day before, the 18th.
So far, 22 contact persons have been identified and placed in home isolation for 14 days. The Regional Health Inspectorate has issued a prescription to take all necessary measures against the epidemic.
The other boy, 16, is from Ivanovo. So far, he has not attended the Atanas Burov Vocational School of Industrial Technology in Ruse, where he is an 11th grade student. The boy has no complaints, but the PCR test was necessary after his return from Germany. Their contacts established so far also remain in home quarantine for a period of 14 days.
Since the start of the pandemic, 387 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the district and there are currently 42 active cases, of which 18 are in hospital and 24 are in home isolation.
Of the active cases, 45% are men and 55% are women, which is respectively 19 and 23. The distribution is similar in all patients since the beginning of the pandemic. 222 are women and 165 are men, representing 57% and 43% respectively.
Since the last 24 hours there have been five more patients cured, which means that since the beginning of the pandemic cured by COVID-19 in Ruse there are already 324. The regional operational headquarters is in constant contact with all institutions at the local, regional and national and daily monitors the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in the region.
