Two new coronavirus outbreaks have been discovered in Haskovo. Those infected are children with disabilities and staff who care for them in two social homes. A total of 14 users and 7 staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The first case was found last week in one of the two houses. “Last week one of the babysitters was positive. We isolated the contacts and the results were clear,” said RHI-Haskovo Director Dr. Sonya Dimitrova.
Fortunately, they are all in good condition at the moment, showing no symptoms, and someone is taking care of them.
“The evening passed in peace. None of the consumers nor the children had a fever. A complete disinfection was carried out. All measures were taken,” said Zlatka Karadjova, from the Directorate of Health and Social Affairs, quoted by Nova TV.
