TO EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said he would isolate himself 14 days after a trip to Ethiopia, during which it became clear that a member of his delegation was infected with a coronavirus.

New anti-registration: more than 700 new cases of coronavirus per day

“I received information on Tuesday afternoon that one of the members of the delegation who was traveling with me tested positive for coronavirus. I took a test immediately after my return and it was negative. I will isolate myself according to current regulations and wait for a second test “. Borel wrote on Twitter.

Under Belgian standards, quarantine is required for one week and two tests after each contact with a person infected with coronavirus. If any of the tests are positive, the quarantine is extended to 14 days, regardless of the presence of symptoms.
