The deadline to issue a death certificate during an emergency epidemic is extended by 14 days
Upon receiving an SMS or email, health authorities will be able to quarantine those infected with coronavirus. However, the recipe will be considered served only if the infected person returns a message. Another way to self-quarantine will be orally over the phone. This was finally stated by the deputies with the approval of the second reading of the amendments to the Health Law.
A fine of BGN 5,000 threatens anyone who violates forced isolation and, in case of refusal to quarantine, the police intervene. Between 50,000 and 100,000 BGN will be fined for anyone who exports medicines that are in short supply in the country during an emergency epidemic, the deputies also decided.
The deadline for writing a death certificate during an emergency epidemic is extended by 14 days. By law, the term is up to 48 hours.
There were no debates on the voted amendments and they enter into force on the day of their promulgation in the Official State Gazette.
