For a patient to be hospitalized in a covid ward, they must have a positive covid test, as ordered by the Minister of Health.
I asked the ambulance doctor to reflect this result in the emergency medical record with which he transferred the patient to the hospital. This, by the way, should be done without my request.
I asked the ambulance doctor to reflect that the patient was referred from the coordination center to the Fourth Hospital, for which we had no evidence other than his oral statements.
I explain why these “formalities” are necessary. Does anyone wonder what would happen if a patient without a covid infection entered a ward where those patients are treated? Who will be responsible for its inevitable infection?
To my questions, if the patient has heart and respiratory failure, the BP doctor answered “no.” When I asked if the patient could be isolated at home, the answer was yes. In this situation I asked him why he wanted the patient to be hospitalized. The explanation was that the patient could not accept the prescribed therapy due to the presence of GERD. These side effects on the stomach are perfectly corrected with known drugs.
After finishing the conversation with the doctor, I ordered the doctor on duty to see the patient with the indication that he was over 60 years old, as ordered by the Minister. Based on the condition described by the doctor, this was the only indication for emergency admission!
From the report relayed by BNT, I was impressed that they told the patient that they would send him home because we refused admission, why? It is more normal to say “let’s go to another hospital”, but obviously this is not dramatic enough for the needs of the report!
It is obvious to me that this report is the purpose of the event, not the hospitalization of the patient!
I leave without commenting that the colleague appeared in front of the hospital, with a pre-established opportunity to register. Not to mention that the recording was made completely criminal! It is surprising that BNT is also involved in this. I will also discuss this with lawyers!
I am fully aware that this is a solo action by the young man, obviously inclined to appearances in the media. By no means do I want to convey that I recommend that the mother be inactive.
