The thieves of the car of the sister of the spokesman of the General Prosecutor’s Office Siika Mileva have been identified and captured. These are repeat offenders. Today, the SRS will decide whether to remain in custody.
A few days ago, thieves stole personal effects and a business card from the sister of the spokesperson for the Attorney General, Siika Mileva. In addition to a significant amount of money, the bandits also seized bank cards, personal documents, car keys, and other valuables.
This is what the prosecutor’s office is announcing;
A prosecutor on duty at the Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted the defendant MK, 32, for theft committed under the conditions of a dangerous recidivism, a crime under article 196, paragraph 1, point 1, in conjunction with article 195, para. 1 point 4, supra art. 194, para. 1, supra art. 20, para 2, supra para 1, supra art. 29, paragraph 1 subsection “A” of the Penal Code, as well as the defendant VM, 31, for theft, a crime typified in art. 195 par. 1 subsection 4, supra art. 194, para. 1, supra art. 20, para. 2, supra para. 1 of the Penal Code and possession of narcotics, a crime typified in art. 354a, para. 3, article 1 of the Penal Code.
On January 7, 2021, around 12.20 hours, from a car parked in the Geo Milev district, Sofia, the two accused of complicity confiscated foreign personal property: a bag containing a travel bag, a wallet, the amount of 400 BGN. , 2 envelopes, each with the amount of BGN 100 and a mobile phone, in possession of DM, without his consent with the intention of illegally appropriating them, since the act was committed using a motor vehicle. The defendant MK committed the crime in dangerous recidivism conditions, after being convicted of an intentional felony of imprisonment for not less than one year, the execution of which was not postponed under art. 66 of the Penal Code.
The defendant VM was also accused that on 01.08.2021 on zh.k. “Druzhba”, Sofia, without a proper permit under the Act on Control of Narcotic Substances and Precursors, had high-risk narcotic drugs: 69.25g amphetamine and 0.05g hemp, included in Schedule I. “Plants and substances with a high degree of risk to public health due to the harmful effect of their abuse, prohibited for use in human and veterinary medicine ”of the Ordinance on the procedure for classifying plants and substances as narcotics.
The crimes for which MK and VM were prosecuted are punishable by “imprisonment”.
Given the high public danger of the acts and of the perpetrators, on 09/01/2021 a prosecutor on duty from the Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office ordered the detention of the accused for up to 72 hours. Today, January 11, 2021, an application will be prepared and submitted to the Sofia District Court for a “detention in custody” restraining measure to be taken with respect to each of them.
