In view of the current situation, the Ministry of Education and Science proposed this year not to take examinations of the national external evaluations at the end of the fourth and tenth grades, but the final decision requires a legislative change, Minister Valchev said. He added that it is planned to measure the degree of achievement of learning results at the end of primary and the first stage of secondary school at the beginning of the next school year, at the beginning of the fifth and eleventh grades, respectively, with a sample of students.

Minister Krassimir Valchev reported that with the amendments to Ordinance No. 10, which is for the organization of activities in school education, the changes in the terms and conditions of admission of students will be regulated, except for this school year. . In math high schools, students will be admitted to fifth grade based on the highest score of the district round of the Mathematical Olympiad or the “Math for All” competition, a combination of the competitions planned for this year in the MONTH calendar. In combination schools, which are a new type of school, students will be admitted to 11th grade based on their certificate qualifications to complete the first stage of high school.
