RHI – Sofia region introduces additional anti-epidemic measures against the spread of COVID-19. This was announced by the RHI press center.

Here is the full text of the order:

“In accordance with Art. 63, para. 4 and para. 7 of the Health Law, in accordance with Order RD-01-722 / 12.22.2020, modified by Order RD-01-99 / 02.15.2020 of the Ministry of Health, in relation to the registered cases of COVID-19 and reported a morbidity of 14 days higher than 310.00 per 100,000 inhabitants during the last two weeks in the territory of the Sofia district, decision of the Regional Crisis Staff of 10.03.2021 and agreed with the main state of health inspector,

I. The following temporary anti-epidemic measures will be introduced on the territory of the Sofia district, from March 12, 2021 to March 26, 2021, as follows:

1. From 00:00 on 03.12.2021 until 00:00 on 03.26.2021, a mandatory requirement will be introduced for the use of protective face masks in markets and squares;

2. Distance learning is introduced in an electronic environment for all 5th to 12th grade students from Sofia district educational institutions;

3. At 00:00 on 03.12.2021 RHI – The Sofia region and the Regional Crisis Headquarters recommend that the mayors of the municipalities of the Sofia region present a reasoned proposal to the Minister of Education to issue an order of conformity with paragraph 1., al. 3 of the transitional and final provisions of the ordinance supplementing ordinance №5 / 2006 on preschool education, namely, “in the 2020/2021 school year, children enrolled in compulsory preschool education in a kindergarten / school in a area within the red zone, according to the criteria of the Ministry of Health for a complicated epidemic situation, may be absent at the request of the parents, prior written notification to the director “and an order issued by the Minister of Education”;

4. All employers, depending on the particularities and possibilities of the respective work activity to introduce a remote form of work for their employees;

5. In case of impossibility of introducing a form of remote work, employers will organize the implementation of intensified anti-epidemic measures in the work facilities, including: filter, disinfection and ventilation, instruction on personal hygiene, use of masks when not possible to provide a distance of 1.5 m and the exclusion of employees or outsiders with manifestations of respiratory symptoms;

6. Strengthen control during the realization of cultural events – massive, since the organizers are responsible for the observance of anti-epidemic measures, prior coordination with the RHI-Sofia region;

7. That hospital care medical establishments are prepared in case of reaching a morbidity greater than 500 per 100,000, for the completion of the planned operational activity and opening of additional beds for COVID-19;

8. Perform the admission and unconditional treatment of patients with COVID-19, as well as suspected COVID-19 according to clinical data in compliance with a strict anti-epidemic regimen in designated COVID areas;

9. Managers of hospital care medical establishments to establish an organization and strengthen control over the prevention of mixing the flows of sick and suspected COVID-19 patients and other patients, especially in the X-ray and medical places . -diagnosis laboratories;

10. That the ambulatory care facilities establish an hourly schedule for the examinations of people with respiratory symptoms and suspected COVID-19, to inform their patients;

II. This order must be published on the RHI website – Sofia region.

III. This order should be communicated to: the district governor of the Sofia district, the mayors of the municipalities of the Sofia district, the heads of medical establishments for hospital and outpatient care, RWU – Sofia District, OD of the Ministry of the Interior – Sofia district for information and implementation.

IV. The order is subject to appeal within one month of its publication on the RHI – Sofia region website to the relevant APC administrative court. In accordance with art. 63, para. 11 of the Health Law, this order is subject to preliminary execution. Challenging it doesn’t stop your implementation.
