Fandakova wants the Medical Audit to verify the Fourth City Hospital (Video)

I have asked the director of the Fourth City Hospital, Dr. Arkady Ivanov, for an explanation and urge the Medical Audit Agency to conduct an inspection. This was written on Facebook by the mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova on the occasion of the requested resignation of the hospital director by the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov. The reason prof. Angelov insisting on the resignation of the head of the municipal medical institution is a refusal to accept a patient with a proven coronavirus.

“I fully support Minister Angelov’s position that hospitals that refuse to open beds for KOVID should not receive funding from the Health Insurance Fund. Today, the price of our success is measured by the empathy, responsibility and debt of everyone, including hospital owners and directors, “said Fandakova.

Remember that municipal hospitals in Sofia have been involved in treating patients with cronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic. A second hospital in the capital city opened one of the first wards in the country, despite the fears of some staff members.
