Associate Professor Kunchev asked the media to change the focus of the coronavirus. He said that mental health is very important right now.
“It is not true that there are no viruses, nor that we will die badly. We are doing everything possible to combat the pandemic,” he said.
“Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland are the European countries with more infected than us. Among other countries in Europe we are at an average level in new cases. Denmark and Estonia are the only ones with a slight decrease in cases,” said Assoc. Prof. Kunchev
“Our goal remains to keep the infection under control so that everyone can receive medical care without complicating the health care system,” said the chief state health inspector.
“There will be no measures such as blocking settlements and cities. Measures must be local first, then targeted. Neighborhoods, homes and others can be closed, but this depends on the cases,” said Adjunct Professor Angel Kunchev, adding:
“Lovech, Vratsa, Veliko Tarnovo and Haskovo are among the least affected by the coronavirus in the country.”
“We believe everything that other countries do,” replied Professor Kunchev when asked if discos, bars and restaurants would remain closed.
