Health Minister Kostadin Angelov said that at the moment there is no shortage of intensive beds in Sofia because measures have been taken.

Angelov clarified that antigen testing will be free for people with coronavirus symptoms. The state allocates 15 million BGN for its purchase.

They will be paid if they wish, otherwise it is medically inappropriate, he said.

According to him, not all those admitted to a hospital with coronavirus need Remdesivir, these are certain groups of people. 3,715 are housed in hospitals; not all can be treated with this drug and not all are suitable, said Professor Angelov.

“There is no shortage of antiplatelet drugs. We note that there is an arsenal of people with drugs, this is unnecessary. We will impose a law to stop the export of certain drugs during the state of emergency,” said the minister.
