An Idaho wife and mother admitted to having sex with several underage children, for which she was sentenced to 90 days in prison. Amanda Catherine Steele will spend just 3 months behind bars and seven years on probation after pleading guilty to two counts, the Daily Mail reported.
Steele pleaded guilty in June after reaching an agreement with the prosecutor. The investigation against her began in late June after her father-in-law reported her to the authorities following rumors that she was dating a group of children. According to court documents, the victims, including a 17-year-old girl, ran away from school to have sex with her and she was married at the time.
“The victim said she knew several of her friends who had sex with Steele,” the police report said. In July 2019, her ex-husband surprised her with a child in the bathtub at home. When he tried to intervene, Steele became nervous and told him that his assumptions were ridiculous. She finally admitted to her husband and the police that she had had sexual relations with minors and that at least one sexual relationship had taken place at the 17-year-old boy’s house and another at his home. One of the children allegedly recorded sex with Amanda, but later told police that the recording was destroyed. As part of the sentence, Amanda will have to do 300 hours of community service and pay a fine of almost $ 5,000.
