A kindergarten coronavirus outbreak was announced on September 2 of this year, after it became clear that six staff members were infected. The garden was immediately closed by the health authorities and the epidemiological investigation continued.

In addition to the child from Babovo, three other cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded yesterday: an 89-year-old man from the town of Bazán, a 45-year-old woman from the town of Babovo and a 70-year-old woman from Slivo Pole.
The epidemic situation in the Vazrazhdane Nursing Home remains unchanged, where an outbreak was announced on July 23 this year. The number of survivors of the infection is 83, of which 74 are residents. There are nine dead.
