Restaurant refuses to comply with the closure order – Society

Only the weekend separates us until the new closing. The owners of a cafe, however, decided to defy orders and threatened to stay open. According to them, if they close, it will be the end of their business.

In the last 5 years Maria Itova has worked as a chef in various restaurants in Sofia. When a state of emergency was declared last year, she was fired to find a more secure job.

“400 leva for the entire period and we received them for the first time 1 week ago. We trust this, I have two children who are also expecting,” he told NOVA.

Now, with the new closure announced, María’s boss decides not to obey the order of the health authorities.

“We are not against the measures, we are against the distribution of aid. We pay our taxes. I do not want handouts, I have invested in this country to help us at that time ”, commented the restaurant manager Rositsa Kutseva.

So as not to wait for help from the state, on Monday, when all restaurants close, this will work.

There will be no staff on Monday so they are not fined. Clients will be greeted by the manager.

“I will not let the employees come on Monday, even though they want to support me. I will be here and the people will also be here, “he added.

The fine for establishments that operate despite the order of the Minister of Health is 300 to 1,000 lev.
