Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said all passengers arriving in the country would have to test negative for the coronavirus as of Monday, Reuters and Associated Press reported.

Passengers who fail to submit a negative urine test performed within 72 hours prior to arrival will not be able to board flights to Turkey, Koca said. The requirement will be valid until March.
The rule is expected to apply to all travel by land and sea starting Wednesday.
Koca said that passengers arriving by plane from Great Britain, Denmark and South Africa will be quarantined upon arrival in Turkey, along with the requirement to present a negative test upon departure.
