Monthly quarantine in Greece – EU

As of November 3, restaurants in Greece will be closed and the afternoon schedule will be introduced across the country from midnight to 5 am, BNR reported.

The border remains open to foreigners with current requirements.

Free movement is allowed throughout the country.

The Attica region, where Athens is located and about 4 million Greeks live, along with all areas of northern Greece, are in quarantine for a month. The establishments will work only for home delivery, bars, cafes, museums and places for cultural events will be closed. The activity of the sports centers is terminated. The movement of people between areas is not prohibited. Companies are encouraged to switch to working online whenever possible. Under strict measures, schools remain open.

The whole country is introducing the mandatory use of masks and a ban on driving from 12 noon to 5 a.m.

The bans go into effect on November 3 and are valid for one month.
