A volunteer has died in clinical trials of the vaccine against COVID-19, developed by Astra Zeneca and Oxford, Brazilian health authorities said, cited by BNT.

The University of Sao Paulo, which coordinates clinical trials in Brazil, said the deceased volunteer was Brazilian. Shares of Astra Zeneca fell 1.7 percent.
The Brazilian government plans to buy the British vaccine and produce it at a biomedical research center in Rio de Janeiro.
Oxford University has said that a careful study of the case in Brazil does not raise cause for concern about the safety of clinical trials of the vaccine.
