A young woman died after a sudden deterioration in her health in a hospital in Targovishte. The 35-year-old woman from Targovishte was diagnosed with a coronavirus.

There are three new cases of COVID-19, confirmed by residents of the district and registered today in the national information system, announced the Headquarters for Combating the Spread of Infection, headed by regional governor Mitko Staykov.

The first case is that of a 62-year-old woman from Omurtag, who works as a nurse at Omurtag Hospital. She was hospitalized for treatment. A 64-year-old man from Razdeltsi’s Antonov village was hospitalized in the same hospital, BTA reports.

The third newly diagnosed in Targovishte is a 36-year-old woman in home quarantine.

Prescriptions for compliance with the 14-day quarantine were issued to all of his contacts, including two school-age children.

To date, a total of 509 people have been placed under home quarantine in the Targovishte district, including 145 people testing positive for COVID-19 and another 364 people in contact with those infected. The tests carried out to detect the coronavirus infection were 2,670, of which 1,598 were PCR tests and 1,072 rapid tests, added the headquarters.
