A 6-year-old boy from the Ruse region has COVID-19 – Diseases

A 6-year-old boy, who attended the “Winnie the Pooh” kindergarten in the city of Slivo Pole, tested positive for COVID-19, announced the Regional Operational Headquarters in Ruse.

A kindergarten coronavirus outbreak was announced on September 2 of this year, after it became clear that six staff members were infected. The garden was immediately closed by the health authorities and the epidemiological investigation continued.

So far, 21 contact children have been tested and only the 6-year-old tested positive. She lives in the village of Babovo, but has visited the garden at Slivo Pole. The child is in good general condition and is in home isolation. Of the staff, nine people have a coronavirus infection. The epidemiological study continues.

96 are the new cases of COVID-19 in our country

In addition to the child from Babovo, three other cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded yesterday: an 89-year-old man from the town of Bazán, a 45-year-old woman from the town of Babovo and a 70-year-old woman from Slivo Pole.

The epidemic situation in the Vazrazhdane Nursing Home remains unchanged, where an outbreak was announced on July 23 this year. The number of survivors of the infection is 83, of which 74 are residents. There are nine dead.
