On Thursday all blockades were lifted at key crossings in Sofia

“The tents, which were set up as a form of protest, turned out to be a good cover to hide the bombs. In one of them, colleagues found a Molotov cocktail. It was probably prepared for use against law enforcement officials as well. ”This was stated in a special briefing on Thursday morning by SDVR director Senior Commissioner Georgi Hadjiev.

The forces of order saw in the video surveillance cameras that the objects with which the police were measured during the escalation of tension of the protest last night were stored in the tents. This prompted the uniformed officers to initiate an action to dismantle the tent camps in the capital at 3:00 a.m. tonight. The crossing of Orlov Most and in front of the Rectorate of the University of Sofia was released.
