I would refrain from commenting on such disclosures, which may be authentic, but may not be, said former Finance Minister Milen Velchev on BTV.

He was a guest on the morning block of television minutes after the text messages that Vasil Bozhkov had exchanged with Vladislav Goranov some time ago were displayed on the television screen. Scanned, Bozhkov posted them on his Facebook page.

Before commenting, Velchev clarified that he did not know that this issue would arise, since he participated in the television program on Monday.

I have not had such communications with Vasil Bozhkov during my tenure as Finance Minister, but I would not throw stones at someone else’s garden, because I don’t know if the other colleagues did, Velchev said.

According to him, communication between a big businessman and a finance minister is not ruthless. It would be more cruel not to have that communication between the government and the Minister of Finance and the people in our country who are driving the economy, Velchev explained.

According to him, the way out of the crisis will begin when there is clarity about the health crisis.

Velchev believes that if the crisis continues, the differentiation of measure 60 to 40 should be by branches, because it is not justified that everyone enjoy such a great relief, especially if it changes from 80 to 20. Velchev believes that the measure should be more generous with the industries most affected.
