Roughly 100 to 150 people arrived on the scene at 4pm, with most staying half an hour.

Some sang the national anthem while others recited the promise of allegiance during the protest.

“We are not worried about their convention. We wanted to show our presence and support for our president, Donald Trump. They are coming to Milwaukee, which is good,” said one cyclist. “That’s their prerogative. They have their convention, it’s not a big deal … but we want to show support for our president.”

Most of the cyclists were from Wisconsin. However, one member of the group drove from Tennessee to join the protest.
