Bethesda has confirmed some bad news about it The Older Scrolls 6. Since its unveiling in 2018, Bethesda has not said a peep about the game. It’s in development, probably for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. That’s all we know. And to be honest, Bethesda noted at the time of the game’s revelation that its release was very, very far away. And this is something that it has been repeated in the past, and it is again what it has been repeated.
Over on Twitter, Bethesda’s Pete Hines confirmed that, more than two years later, the game is still very far away. As requested by a fan about release information for the upcoming Older Scrolls game, Hines not only confirmed that Bethesda has nothing to share, but that it will have nothing to share for “a long time”. In other words, two years after the release, it does not seem that we are all closer to seeing more of the next mainline installation in the series.
It’s getting worse for Bethesda fans. in addition to The Older Scrolls 6, Bethesda Game Studios is also working on Starfield, which is expected to arrive in advance TES6. In fact, there are some rumors and speculations suggesting that the spaceflight RPG will be released this year. All this has apparently been nonsense.
Also on Twitter, Hines confirmed that we will not see anything about it Starfield this year, however, he apparently confirmed that we will see the game next year, 2021.
At this point, it is safe to assume Starfield is a game of 2021 or 2022 given how short Bethesda is holding its marketing campaigns. If this is the case then maybe we should not look at it The Older Scrolls 6 until 2024 at last.
However, as always, feel free to leave a comment or two or 26 to let us know what you think or let me know on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ and let me know about it. When do you think we’ll see The Older Scrolls 6 released?
