Later, SI Muktar Hossain filed a case at the Araihazar Police Station. The case is being investigated by PBI. During the investigation, PBI learned that the murderer Yunus Ali was not married and came to the country on vacation in February after working in Malaysia for 9 years. Yunus used to live in the Manikpur area.
He said that Fatima’s grandparents used to let Yunus stay at home under various pretexts. At one point, Yunus proposes to Fatima. Yunus had a love affair with Fatima while he was at home.
Meanwhile, Yunus Ali’s family moved to a new house in Bishnandi Dempara from the Araihazar Police Station.
At different times, Yunus Ali used to come to his old empty house in Manikpur and in that empty house he began a physical relationship with the victim making love and affection with Fatima. Neighbors, including people from both families, learned of their love story. Yunus’s family opposes their relationship and begins to see the bride for Yunus’s wedding.
On the other hand, Yunus’s relationship with his girlfriend Fatema Akhtar has made Fatema afraid of getting pregnant and Yunus finds out that he is going out with a girlfriend, so she pressures Yunus to get married. But Yunus refused to marry Fatima.
On the afternoon of August 10, Yunus spoke with the victim Fatema Akhter on his mobile phone and took her to various places, after the evening he returned home leaving the victim in a wooded area behind his new home. Around 10 pm that night, Yunus went to Fatima’s house and had sex with her. At one point, he grabbed Fatima by the arm from behind and strangled her to death.
After killing Fatima, her body was taken from the abandoned place behind the defendant’s new house to the sand-filled VT of the house under construction in Dalim at the site and buried with a shovel. After covering the sand, the defendant Yunus asks the landlord when the house’s VT will be ready.
Then the owner of the house said: VT will be finished after the tin job. At this moment Yunus says: quickly mature the VT, if money is needed, take it from me. While working on the house, Dalim smelled bad from VT on August 15 and shoveled off the sand with a shovel and found the half rotten body of the victim and informed the locals. The locals informed the police. The police subsequently sent the body to the morgue and began the investigation by registering a case against the unidentified defendant.
Subsequently, PBI began to investigate the Narayanganj case. Using advanced technology, the defendant Yunus was arrested on 10 December by the Jaintapur Police Station in Sylhet during an hour-long adventure operation in the mountainous area of the Bangladesh-India border. According to Yunus, the shovel used to bury the victim’s body in the area of the Araihazar police station in Narayanganj was confiscated from Yunus’s old home.
