Two policemen, including an inspector (investigation), were stabbed by a young man in front of the Brahmanbaria Sadar model police station. The incident took place around 5:15 pm on Tuesday. Police arrested the attacker named Mobasher (30) in the incident.
Witnesses said that the young man entered the Sadar Model Police Station in the afternoon and began to walk. When the policemen asked him the reason for his walk, he tried to attack the policemen with the knife he had with the young man.
The young man chased the policemen and led them to the road in front of the police station. At that moment, the police tried to catch him. Inspector (Investigation) Mohammad Shahjahan and Sheriff (Driver) Sadhan were injured when the police went to arrest him.
Later, the young man was arrested in front of the police station after several attempts. It is known that he is a resident of Uttar Maurail in the municipality of Mobasher city.
Model Brahmanbaria Sadar (investigation) inspector Mohammad Shahjahan said: “I have injured two fingers. The young man was arrested in front of the police station. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving office. Details can be told at the end of the questioning.
