Defender Shahnaz Parveen Milli has been removed from the position of Vice President of the Satkhira District Awami Women’s League for being involved in vandalism, looting and anti-organization activities with mercenary terrorists. This information was confirmed in a press release signed by Advocate Farida Akhter Banu, Chairperson (Acting) of the Satkhira District Branch of the Mahila Awami League of Bangladesh, and Secretary General Jyotsna Ara on Tuesday (September 1) by the night.
According to the statement, lawyer Shahnaz Parveen Milli was using the position of vice president of the district Awami Women’s League to carry out counter-terrorism activities in the district. Despite repeated verbal warnings, no change was noticed. For this, Shahnaz Parveen Milli has been expelled from the position of the District Awami Women’s League under the instructions of the Central Women’s Awami League.
Mostafizur Rahman, a Satkhira Best Team officer and his wife, defender Shahnaz Parveen Milli, have been known to be involved in the vandalism and looting incident at the home of the Alam tram driver in the village of Satkhira Sadar in Parandaha, on Saturday afternoon. A case was presented at the Sadar police station last Sunday night in which the names of five people were mentioned. On Monday a human chain program was held in the village of Parandah in Satkhira Sadar to demand the arrest of the culprits.
Meanwhile, detective police arrested attorney Shahnaz Parveen Milli and her husband Mostafizur Rahman at the Satkhira New Market crossing on Monday night. They were examined on Tuesday. Mostafizur Rahman turned out to be very addicted to drugs on the test. Another case was filed under the ICT Act on behalf of defender Shahnaz Parveen Milli after finding preliminary evidence of various misdeeds, including defamation of people via Facebook Live. Preparations are underway to file a case on behalf of her husband Mostafizur due to drug addiction, police said.
