He made the remarks after inspecting the vaccine lab at the Department of Drug Administration’s National Control Laboratory on Sunday afternoon.

He added: “So far we have established two laboratories for drugs and vaccines. The drug laboratory is approved by the World Health Organization (WHO). As a result, the drug laboratory is of international standard. In this laboratory, the quality of the drugs from our pharmaceutical companies is tested and what needs to be done to maintain quality is done. The Kovid-19 vaccine will also be tested in this laboratory in the future.

The ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Director General of the Department of Drug Administration, Major General Mahbubur Rahman and other officials from the National Control Laboratory.
