Noakhali: The RAB-11 arrested Delwar, the Delwar force commander, from Narayanganj on Monday (October 5) morning.
But Delwar is not among the nine defendants in the case brought by the tortured housewife Sunday night.

The whispers have been circulating on social media all day, with an army chief, a defendant in a double murder case two years ago and the latest housewife tortured.

The way Delwar came about
In 2016, a double murder occurred in the VIP Road area on the east side of Eklashpur Bazar due to the dominance of drug trafficking. After Delwar was arrested for double murder, Alamgir Kabir Alo, president of the Union Krishak League and president of the last Parishad Union (UP) elections, was released on bail to retain his post.
Alamgir Kabir Alo tried to get Delwar out of bail by using it. He created a group with Delwar. This group includes thieves, robbers, auto-rickshaw drivers, drug addicts. Alo used to take them to the leaders.
This group has been committing one misdeed after another. Nobody dares to open their mouth for fear of them. From the hall of the great leaders, they gradually became desperate for the opportunity to go to the bedroom.
So Delwar created an army and established a reign of terror in the area. Members of the Delwar forces have no misdeeds that they are not involved in, including drug trafficking, murder, sexual harassment of women.
Although no one has opened their mouths in fear for so long, now that incidents of physical torture of naked housewives have come to light, many people have started to open their mouths about the misdeeds of Delwar’s forces.
The news of the arrest of Delwar’s army chief, Delwar, has brought relief to the locals. At the same time, the general public demanded that Delwar and his forces be punished quickly. 
Delwar was involved in various misdeeds in the area for a long time even though it came to the fore through the torture incident of this barbarian woman.
Delwar and members of his forces are known to establish a reign of terror by unethically influencing the ruling party even though they held no office.
A year ago, the Delwar family used to drive auto rickshaws on CNG. But after joining the light team, he went into the forest overnight as the head of the terrorist forces of Begumganj upazila of Noakhali. Since then, this Delwar has grown reckless. No one dared to protest in the area despite having committed various misdeeds, such as extortion, kidnapping and drug trafficking. So the news of his arrest has brought relief to the area.
A local, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said justice must be done. Today my sister is being raped, tomorrow they will kill her, the day after tomorrow she will be raped by someone else.
Another said that today they are involved in various misdeeds, including drug trafficking under the umbrella of the Awami League leaders. Even though he is not in any position in the Awami League, the local leaders of the Awami League are cornered by his power.
An activist from the Awami League said, I have been doing the Awami League for a long time, but I have never seen Delwars do the Awami League. Those who are doing terrorist work use the group for their own benefit.
Another member of the Ekhlashpur Union Awami League in Begumganj said that Alamgir Kabir Alo welcomed Delwar by joining the Juba League and greeted him with flowers. Since then, his misdeeds in the area have increased.
Noakhali Police Superintendent. Alamgir Hossain said that no one involved in the incident, including Delwar, will be spared. However, before joining the Juba League, Delwar has been charged with multiple murders and drug cases.
By the way, on Sunday (October 4) around noon, a video of a naked and tortured housewife went viral on social media Facebook. The local administration is in shock. The incident occurred 32 days ago. The defendants Delwar, Badal, Kalam and their associates held the housewife and his family members under siege for some time. At one point, the woman and her family were forced to leave the house. Later, when the video was published, the matter came to the attention of the police administration. After the woman was rescued by police Sunday night, she filed a lawsuit against members of her force, except Delwar, for attempted rape and undressing. Mysteriously, Delwar is not mentioned in the case. Subsequently, the police and members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) carried out several raids and arrested Mulhota Delwar and five defendants in the case.
