The Cabinet Division issued a circular on “Celebration / Celebration of national and international days” on Sunday, deciding which programs of the day should be taken in light of the Prime Minister’s directives. At the same time, the circular issued on November 8, 2012 was canceled.
As before, every day has been classified into three categories. The 18 days of class ‘A’ will be celebrated with due dignity.
According to the circular, of the 34 days of category ‘B’, the days that are traditionally observed or that are especially useful for the protection of the environment, development and social improvement of the country today, can be observed in days significant.
“Ministers will be involved in these events and the Prime Minister will be invited considering the importance of such events. A maximum of Rs 50,000 can be allocated from government sources to organize such events.”
Regarding the 33 days in category ‘C’, the circular said that the symbolic days of the special sector will be observed in a limited number of days.
“The ministers will consider attending the events on these days. No special allocation will be made from the development sector for the observance of these days.”
The government says that in addition to the three types of days, various interested ministries or departments and departments observe a few more days than are the traditional types.
“In some cases, these are repetitive and do not matter much today. To save government time and resources, government agencies can avoid getting involved in observing such days.
Education Week, Primary Education Week, Science Week, World Breastfeeding Week (August 1 to 8), World Children’s Week (September 29 to October 5), Forces Day Armed Forces (November 21), Police Week, BGB Week, Ansar Week, Fisheries The concerned ministries were asked to take over the program under the direction of the Prime Minister in connection with the tree planting campaign and the celebration of National Sports Week. These events must be organized according to the schedule approved by the Prime Minister.
In addition to festivals at the national level, the circular also says that large-scale decorations and ceremonies should be avoided as much as possible.
“However, radio and television debates and seminars can be organized on a limited scale. Rallies or processions will be avoided on weekdays ”.
The Cabinet Division has ordered to limit the hours of any week to three days.
The circular said: “We have to ensure that any program initiated by the government does not interrupt the operation of the office and try to organize debates or cultural events on holidays or outside office hours.”
“Ordinary events that require spending money or resources in the form of cash or materials can be organized on holidays or business days. For example, preaching the message of the president and prime minister, raising the flag (if applicable), private discussion meetings, radio and television discussions, giving press releases in magazines, etc. “
The circular has instructed that officials and employees from outside the capital or at the district level should be avoided as much as possible on any day or week.
