The detective police have again arrested the former Vice President (VP) of Daksu Nurul Haque Nur at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital at midnight. Later he was released again.
At 11:45 p.m. Monday, a team of detectives picked up Nur from the back door of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital and picked him up in a car.

At that point, detectives picked up Nur in a car through the back door of Dhaka Medical and pulled him out. Nur supporters tried to obstruct the car. At one point, the police left the hospital with Nur.
Confirming the matter on Monday evening, DB Joint Commissioner Mahbub Alam told Channel I Online: “The decision to release Nur has already been made. It has been officially released. Since he was ill, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College for treatment. He was taken to DB’s car to be delivered due to illness.
Detective police said: Nur was taken to the DB office again for the official formality of his release. He was later released at around 2:45 p.m.
In an immediate response after leaving the DB office at night, Nurul Haque Nur said: “We have been attacked.” Many have become ill as a result of the beatings. Later we were released on bail. We do not know why he was arrested and why he was released.
He said that no one has similarity to any part of the state apparatus, there is no similarity at work. So they kill one, arrest another, and release another.
The fact that we were beaten today, we are not criminals. We were peacefully ending the movement. But the police attacked without provocation. In fact, we did not understand why they arrested us and why they released us.
Previously, Nur was treated in the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for illness.
Said the resident surgeon. Mohammad Alauddin told Channel I Online: A total of four people, including Vice President Noor, have been treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Among them, several x-rays of VP Noor have been taken. They have good reports.
He said: They won’t need admission. One of them named Sohrab has a head wound. But it’s no so bad. There are 4 stables, including Nur.
Nurul Haque Nur was arrested for the first time in the Matsya Bhaban area on Monday night. After the arrest, Nur was taken to the DB office. There he was interrogated. He was later released on bail.
Walid Hossain, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the DMP media and public relations department, later confirmed the matter to Channel I Online: “Some people, including Nur, were protesting in front of the Matsya Bhaban.” When they obstructed the procession, they attacked the police. Meanwhile, seven people, including Vice President Noor, have been arrested. There is a rape case against Nur at the Lalbagh Police Station and he has also been arrested for attacking the police.
Earlier Sunday night, a DU student filed a rape case against Nur and six other people at the Lalbagh police station.
The defendants in this case are: Hasan Al Mamun, Nazmul Hasan, Nurul Haque Nur, Md. Saiful Islam, Nazmul Huda and Abdullah Hill remain.
Among them, Hassan al-Mamun and Nur have been accused of aiding and inciting rape.
