The Islamabad government is considering taking a different path, as various Arab states have put enormous pressure on Pakistan to recognize Israel.
The news was reported by Press TV reporter Javed Rana from Islamabad. He said in an exclusive report that pressure was being exerted on Pakistan, especially by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. As part of the crackdown, the United Arab Emirates banned the issuance of work and travel visas to Pakistani citizens. At the same time, the governments of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain want to send a different message to Islamabad by adopting a pro-Israel and pro-India policy.
But more than 5 million Pakistani workers work in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The Arab states are Pakistan’s largest source of foreign exchange earnings.
In a recent interview, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said he had lobbied Islamabad. Despite widespread pressure, the Imran Khan government has decided not to bow.
Furthermore, the recognition of Zionist Israel has enraged the Arab states, and the people of Pakistan have held demonstrations in various cities, including the capital, Islamabad.
Faced with this situation, analysts think that there are two paths for the Imran Khan government. Recognize Zionist Israel or be punished by Arab states.
However, considering the situation, it appears that Pakistan will join the alliance that is to be formed with Iran, Turkey, Qatar and China. Instead, there will be alliances between the United States, Israel, India, and various Arab states.
