The students began the protest on the grounds of the madrassa after Johar’s prayers on Wednesday (September 18). At this time they began to give different slogans.
According to sources, Hathazari Madrasa, Hefazat-e-Islam, and Qaumi Madrasa Board (BEFAC) have been facing internal problems for a long time. Hefazat Amir Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi and Maulana Junaid Babungari, the organization’s secretary general, disagreed on the matter.
Opponents allege that Anas Madani, son of Hefazat Amir Allama Ahmad Shafi, is trying to influence and control everything.

As can be seen in various images and videos disseminated on social networks, all the doors of the madrasa have been closed and the teachers have also been blocked. Furthermore, agitated students vandalized Anas Madani’s room.
In addition, students are repeatedly miking the mosque’s microphones so that the administration does not interfere with the madrasa.
