The second debate between the two main candidates, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, has been canceled before the US elections. The Presidential Debate Commission has decided to cancel the event on October 15 because President Trump did not accept the virtual debate. However, the third debate will take place at the scheduled time.

“It is clear that there will be no debate on October 15,” the commission said in a statement. The CPD will give its full attention to the last debate scheduled for October 22. The third debate will take place at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, considering health safety and following other rules, including proper testing, wearing masks and social distancing.

The latest Trump-Biden debate will be divided into six parts of 15 minutes each. NBC News anchor Kristen Welker will announce the theme for each episode. Both candidates agreed to participate in the October 22 debate, organizers said.
