Two people died of coronavirus symptoms in Hajiganj and Kachua in Chandpur. They are a 60-year-old woman from Randhunimura in ward 10 of Hajiganj municipality and a doctor from the 55-year-old village of Kapilabari village in the Kadla Union of Kachua Upazila. Hospital doctors came and collected samples of the bodies of the two.
On Sunday afternoon, the old woman entered the Matlab Diarrhea Hospital with diarrhea. The doctor said the woman had crown symptoms on her body. He advised his family members to go to the Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The patient’s family kept the information secret and took her home without taking her to Chandpur, and the old woman died at night. Later in the night, the doctor in charge of the Hajiganj Upazila Hospital came and collected samples from the body of the dead woman.
On the other hand, a doctor from the village of Kapilabari in the Kadla union of Kachua upazila died at his home on Saturday night when he returned from work in Chittagong with symptoms. Both were buried at the end of Janaza in accordance with hygiene regulations.
