Explosion in the mosque
The Titas authorities have launched an investigation into the gas leak at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in Narayanganj.
Titas has been digging at two points on the road leading to the mosque steps since Monday morning.
Mofizul Islam, general manager of the Fatullah area in Titas, confirmed that leaks were found in two lines on the north side of the mosque in the excavation until late afternoon.
He said there was no evidence of a gas pipe inside the mosque. However, the search will resume from Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the authorities of Titas Gas have suspended four officials and four employees of Fatullah (Regional Sales Office) of Titas Gas for negligence in the performance of their duties.

On the other hand, mourning continues in the homes of those killed in the mosque explosion. A young man named Imran (30) died until Monday night. A total of 26 people were burned to death in the explosion.

17 eyewitnesses at the public hearing:
Sixteen eyewitnesses have participated in the public hearing of the investigative committee formed by the district administration on the explosion at the Fatullah mosque. They gave information on various things, including the description of the incident that night.
