The Foreign Secretary, Masud bin Momen, met him at Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Turkish embassy in Dhaka said in a press release on Monday that it was visiting Bangladesh at the invitation of that country’s Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sabusolu will hold a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Momen at 12:30 pm on Wednesday.
During his visit, several memoranda of understanding on immigration and trade could be signed, officials from the Foreign Ministry said.
A press release from the embassy said that all bilateral issues would be discussed during the visit. At the same time, Sabusolu will exchange views on various regional and international issues.
During the visit, the Turkish Foreign Minister will also meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The newly constructed building of the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka will officially open.
During his visit to Turkey in September, Foreign Minister Momen invited Sabusolu to visit Bangladesh.
At that time a new building for the Bangladeshi embassy in Turkey was also inaugurated.
