Mostafa Osman Turan, Turkey’s ambassador to Bangladesh, recently said that his country is looking to increase investment in Bangladesh. At the same time, they want to significantly improve bilateral trade by diversifying their products.

“We see a Bangladesh that has a very bright future. The economy of this country is growing as fast as our country. Turkish investors are interested in investing in Bangladesh. The country offers attractive incentives for foreign investors, ”Turan told UNB.

A well-known Turkish company will initially invest £ 100 million in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sector in Chittagong.

Turkey and Bangladesh’s priorities include developing trade relations between the two countries, increasing investment, and expanding cultural and person-to-person contacts.

Two-way trade between the two countries currently stands at £ 1 billion and the two countries hope to increase this number.

In the first 10 months of this year, trade between the two countries stood at 854 million.
