Many are dissatisfied with the role of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in addressing the coronavirus. Recently, former President Barack Obama also washed Trump with this. Many believe that if Trump had made the right decision quickly, the death rate in Corona would have been much lower. Eugene Zareki is such a person. The filmmaker has created the ‘death clock’ with that anger. It has been placed on the roof of an empty Times Square house due to the epidemic.

As of Monday, the death toll had risen to 46,000. The coronavirus has killed more than 60,000 people in the United States so far. Which is more than all the other countries in the world.

In a post, Zareki explained about the watch. He believes the death toll from Covid-19 disease in the United States could have been reduced to 60 percent if the Trump administration had maintained a mandatory social distance and closed schools a week earlier. In other words, if the blockade had taken place on March 9 instead of March 16, the death rate would have been much lower. These deaths could have been prevented. The watch is made from this idea.

Zareki is a New York-based filmmaker who has twice won awards at the Sundance Film Festival. He explained that experts had calculated that 70 percent, following comments from Anthony Fassi, a leading American infectious disease specialist. In mid-April, Fassi entered the discussion, commenting on the government movement. Addressing the Trump administration, he said that many lives could have been saved if steps had been taken to arrest Corona earlier.

“Many lives have been lost without reason,” said Zareki. We want more responsible leadership in this situation. “
