The newly elected president of the United States, Joe Biden, injured his leg while playing with a dog. He has cracks in his feet. The incident took place last Saturday, local time. Biden will have to wear protective boots for the next several weeks, his personal physician said. The Reuters news agency reported this news in a report.
Meanwhile, Biden met with orthopedists for an X-ray and CT scan on Sunday local time, according to the report.
Doctors initially thought Biden’s ankle was slightly sprained. However, after the CT scan, doctors confirmed that his leg was broken.
“He (Biden) has to wear a walking boot for the next several weeks,” said Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s personal physician.
Meanwhile, current president Donald Trump tweeted Saturday night wishing Biden the best. Wishing Biden a speedy recovery, he tweeted, “Get well soon!”
Democratic candidate Joe Biden lost to Republican Donald Trump in the US elections. He will be the oldest president of the United States when he enters the White House on January 20.
