President Donald Trump will declare himself the winner if he is under the impression of ‘staying ahead’ in tomorrow’s election.
Al-Jazeera cited a report from the Axios news portal saying on Saturday that Trump had told his close associates that he would declare himself the winner before officially announcing the results Tuesday night.
Axios said the report was based on three sources who heard Trump’s comments.
According to the report, several states will begin counting votes after the November 3 elections. Again, some major states will start counting votes after November 3. In such a situation, it may take a few days to obtain the final result of the election.
But Trump wants to declare himself the winner on election night.
Trump’s adviser Jason Miller told the media on Sunday that if there was a sign that the results would change after the vote, it would be understandable that the Democrats would have “stolen” the election results.
