US President Donald Trump has officially nominated Amy Connie Barrett, a conservative justice on the US Supreme Court. At the White House on Saturday, Trump formally nominated Amy Connie to the post of Supreme Court Justice.
At a press conference at the White House, Trump also referred to Amy Connie as a woman of outstanding achievement.

Of the nine judges on the Supreme Court judiciary, eight are Republicans. The position was vacated after the death of Judge Ruth Baider Ginsberg. Nine justices of the United States Supreme Court have been sentenced to death. Its ruling plays an important role in shaping the country’s government policy.
The hearing on Barrett’s appointment to the Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to begin on October 12.
